Install the extension on Firefox from the Avast antivirus official page. Once you’ve done it, Avast Passwords icon will appear next to the searching box. Click on it to activate the extension features.
Now, whenever you want to save account details, generate a new secure password, or simply open the module in a pop-up window, click or double-click the icon respectively.
How to tell the extension is activated and working properly

The extension icon should appear next to your login or username. You may click on it and see details to your account.
